Lace customization has been apart of sneaker culture dating back to the days of the Adidas Tubular Black. You could dress the silhouette up in fat laces, iron out the stock pair, switch up colors – the potential was virtually limitless. adidas is bringing back that whole modus operandi atop one of their latest silhouettes in the Adidas Tubular Womens. The “Hawaiian Camo Lace” features three new mesh varieties of the lifestyle model in Red, Navy, and Lime while black acts as an accent throughout each pair. But where things truly get interesting is on the laces, as hints of a camouflage look wrap up and around the lacing system.
In what seems to be adidas Originals’ favorite new silhouette this season to outfit in appealing new colorways and patterns, the Adidas Tubular Mens is back again with another new pack. For this set, the fashion-forward casual silhouette gets an eye-catching geometric pattern in tessellated white lines across the black or bluebird colored upper. The printed neoprene base is layered with suede paneling and synthetic reinforcement at the toe.
If the hypebeasts are bummed that there’s going to be no all-red adidas Yeezy, then perhaps what we have here will be the next best thing.
